Welcome to Heartland Homeschool Bands & Strings

Heartland Homeschool Bands and Strings is an instrumental and elementary music program designed to give Oklahoma homeschoolers the experience and joy of being in a band or orchestra.

With over 700 students in multiple locations, HHBS offers programs for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players in band and orchestra. In 2018, HHBS introduced a primary music program and now offers classes for preschoolers and students not yet for beginning band and strings classes.

  • A $15 Registration Fee Per Student per semester at time of enrollment. This will be paid online via PayPal to complete your registration and helps cover the cost of enrollment and insurance.

  • A $50 per semester per family administration fee. This will be paid online via PayPal to complete your registration and helps cover the cost of daily business operations such as website hosting, software licenses, music, instruments, marketing, and equipment maintenance.

  • A complete list of classes offered at each location is provided on our website under Locations and Schedules. Payment for music instruction is paid to the directors in the form of semester tuition.

  • Tuition will be paid directly to the instructors for your classes.  The semester may be paid in full at the start of each semester or may be divided into four installments each semester.  Fall semester will have four monthly installments due the first day of the semester, then by the 15th of September, October, and November.  Spring installments will be due January, February, March, and April.

Statement of Purpose

Heartland Homeschool Band and Strings Foundation (HHBSF) is a non-profit organization that exists to assist parents in home-directed education by providing quality music programs. We believe that all students have the ability to excel in music instruction. We, therefore, strive to foster an encouraging environment of musical growth for these students. We are committed to promoting Christian values and building an excellent reputation in the community which will honor the Lord Jesus Christ and creates a positive reflection of home-directed education.
